Prize Details
Cottage:
Cottage includes over 50ft of water frontage with private dock & shallow shore. Completely renovated home features full city views & breathtaking summer sunsets. Just steps to Minet’s Point Beach & Park with 4 proper bedrooms, + living room features double bed & queen bed between the 2 pull out couches, 3 full bathrooms and sauna. With over 2400sqft there will be room and comfort for everyone. Parking for 2 vehicles, additional parking available via 2 passes provided (4 total). Conveniences include, gas BBQ, fire pit, fast Wifi & 65″ Smart TV, washer/dryer etc. Minutes to marina & downtown for Seadoo/boat rentals, Costco, fishing, fine dining +pubs.
Cottage is located in Barrie, Ontario and exact location will be communicated to winner following contest closing.
Check in after 4:00PM on Friday, May 13th, 2022 and check out before 11:00AM on Sunday, May 15th, 2022. 6 maximum overnight guests and winner must be 25 years of age or older. Children are welcomed with full adult supervision at all times. No pets allowed. No parties or events. No smoking.

“CGT’s WIN a Cottage Weekend Getaway” CONTEST Presented by The Curtis Goddard Team and Tourism Barrie Official Contest Rules & Regulations (“Official Rules”)
The contest is valid to Ontario residents only and is open to eligible persons as specified in the rules below.
The “CGT’s WIN a Cottage Weekend Getaway” Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by The Curtis Goddard real estate team and Tourism Barrie (the “Sponsors”). The Contest starts on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 10:00AM (ET) (the “Contest Opening Date”). The Contest closes on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 12:00PM (ET) (the “Contest Closing Date”). The “Contest Period” runs from the Contest Opening Day to the Contest Closing Date.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open on all individuals 25 years of age and older who are legal residents of Ontario, Canada and are available to participate in the cottage weekend on the selected dates outlined.
The Contest is not open to the Sponsors, or any of their parents, employees, agents (collectively the “Contest Group”) or any persons residing in the same household with members of the Contest Group. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and all decisions of the Sponsors, which shall be final and binding on all entrants in all matter pertaining to the Contest.
2. HOW TO ENTER
Before the Contest Closing Date, visit NoWorriesTeam.ca (the “Website”) to register and complete the online entry form with your required information (ex. Name, address, telephone number, age) for your chance to win the Contest prize (the “Prize”). You must have a valid email address and phone number to enter the Contest. Only one (1) email address may be used by any person to enter the Contest.
3. PRIZE
There is one (1) Grand Prize (the “Grand Prize”) available to be won during the Contest Period. The approximate retail value if the Grand Prize is $2,000 Canadian dollars (CAD). The Marketing Director for The Curtis Goddard Team will contact the Prize winner directly and coordinate the awarding of the Prize.
- $1,500 for a two-night stay at a 5-star waterfront cottage in Barrie, ON booked in advance of Contest administration
- $500 spending credits towards local Barrie attractions The following conditions apply to the Prize:
- Winner will be able to bring up to a maximum of 5 additional guests to the cottage weekend;
- Winner must be available the weekend of May 13-15, 2022 or otherwise must forfeit the full Grand
Prize;
- If winner is unable to attend last minute, no cash equivalent or prizing will be issued;
- The winner must sign the Sponsor’s Release (defined below) in order to participate and receive Grand
Prize.
Any other costs or expenses associated with the Grand Prize not specified or identified herein will be the responsibility of the winner and guests (as applicable), including ground transportation, meals, insurance and any medical documents. Sponsor will not be responsible if weather conditions, cancellations, or other factors
beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control prevent the prize or part of the Prize from being fulfilled and winner will not be entitled to compensation in lieu thereof. Winner and guests must be able to fully participate in the Prize or it may be forfeited, in whole or in part and may, at the Sponsor’s discretion, be awarded to an alternate entrant. Winner and guests must obey all rules and requirements at the cottage and attraction locations, including the booking site requirement to present a major credit card and fines for cleaning or repairs. Failure to follow such rules and requirements may result in, without limitation, ejection from the Contest Prize, non-admission to the cottage and forfeiture of all part of the Prize,
4. CLAIMING YOUR PRIZE
To be declared the winner of the Grand Prize, the selected entrant must answer correctly, without assistance of any kind, a mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at the phone number or email address provided during the registration for the Contest.
The selected entrant will also be required to sign a Release Form (the “Release Form”) confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prize, as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Contest Sponsors, Contest Group and respective shareholders or affiliated (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any liability in connection with the Grand Prize or the Contest.
The selected entrant must return a signed Release Form within seven (7) days of receipt, or he/she will be disqualified from receiving the Prize.
